The student selected by the shipping company will complete his required 12 months of sea time as a cadet in 2 terms of 6 months on board of one of the vessels of the shipping company.
Upon completion of his cadet time and after passing the national exams to obtain his CoC, he will join as a (junior) officer with the shipping company.
